August: Health
The COVID-19 pandemic has made many people hesitant to return to normal life without the availability of a vaccine, however vaccines have been the source of controversy for a while. In this podcast we discuss some objections to vaccines and debunk myths that have been used to dissuade people from being vaccinated.
September: Environment
People nowadays are starting to realise the impacts humans are having on the environment, but many of them don’t know how they, personally, are contributing. In this podcast we discuss how many aspects of modern culture have impacts on the environment both positively and negatively to hopefully shed some light on how people can work towards being more sustainable in their lives.
Our impact on the environment has been increasingly negative. To combat this, people have come up with strategies, policies, and finally, inventions. In this podcast we discuss some of these inventions, how they work, their faults, and our own perspectives of them.
October: Self Love, Self Care, Self Respect
Even outside of such a trying time as a pandemic, people find it hard to put time and effort into loving and caring about themselves. In this podcast, we discuss self love/respect/care, why it’s important, and some ways you can start treating yourself right.
November: Gender
Feminism has been a hot topic for ages now, with our monthly theme of ‘gender’ we delve into some aspects of feminism such as it’s reception, complexities within women and feminism itself, and some phenomenon that feminism deals with.
This is a continuation of the previous recording of ‘Feminism 1.0’. In this podcast, we address men’s involvement in feminism and cover a wide range of topics such as mansplaining, toxic masculinity, and menism.
